In contemporary times, living alone has become increasingly common across the globe, with the number of people embracing solo living on the rise. Research indicates that in economically developed big cities, the youth population living alone is particularly substantial.

However, the term "singleton" does not imply isolation and loneliness. Studies show that those who live alone are more likely to visit friends or join social groups, contributing to vibrant and lively cities. Consequently, people who live alone often pay more attention to their inner feelings and have more time and space to choose and engage in social activities that truly meet their needs.

In this series of works, I aim to reflect the social phenomenon of young people living alone in contemporary society by showcasing my own experiences of solo living.

For today's young people, who face a lot of pressure from work and various aspects of life, the only time they can truly relax is during moments of solitude. During these times, they can shed all their stress and facades. Therefore, people cherish their moments of solitude, seeing it not as a transient phase but as a comfortable zone. As a member of this group, my personal experiences of living alone represent a microcosm of this lifestyle. Drawing from my own experiences, I have created a series of daily life stories set in a single apartment to depict my ideal solo living experience.
